Your Browser, Now Smarter
We're excited to announce that the ClipThoughts extension is now available on Firefox. Install it once and clip anything from the web — articles, YouTube videos, arXiv papers — without ever opening a new tab or switching apps.
Clip Articles as You Read
Found a sentence worth saving? Click and drag to select it and a 📌 Clip button appears. Add a quick note, hit Save — and the clip is stored locally on that page. When you're done reading, hit Sync to ClipThoughts to push all your clips to a collection in one go.
The panel only appears when you have clips saved on a page, so it stays out of your way when you don't need it.
YouTube Timestamps, Right on the Video Page
Watching a tutorial or lecture? The extension adds a CT Notes panel directly on YouTube. Hit the timestamp button at any moment to capture where you are, add a note, and sync everything to your ClipThoughts video collection. Your notes link back to the exact second in the video.
Annotate Research Papers on arXiv
Reading a paper on arXiv or PubMed? Select any passage and click 📌 Clip passage to save it as an annotation. Add notes, collect all your annotations in the side panel, and save the full paper with everything attached to your ClipThoughts research collection.
